Synopsis:

Cage strikes out with Nelle when he tells her that he now realizes the depth of his love for her, only to have her turn down his date offer. In hopes of redeeming his dignity somewhat (not possible), The Biscuit takes on Johnson Biblico, an employer accused of gender bias. Marianne Harper believes that she was denied promotions because she recently had a baby.

Elsewhere, Lucy Ricardo, I mean Elaine, always desperate to be a part of the 'show' is distraught to find out her dancing partner tore his Achilles tendon, only one day before the qualifying of a dance contest. Initially, Ling offers to help out, naturally she's an awe-inspiring swing dancer, but practice takes its toll and she walks out.

Finally a therapist after our own hearts, in a misguided attempt to save their marriage Billy and Georgia visit Dr. Hooper, who subsequently declares that if he were her husband, she'd kick his ass. Georgia, please be taking notes. When Billy suggests that Georgia's recent lack of passion for him is what probably led him in Ally's direction, Dr. Hooper suggestions bringing in the third party. Little does the doctor know.

Back to the latest button pusher, Nelle tells John and Richard that she sincerely believes that once a woman has a baby she is no longer totally focused on her work and thereby can't perform her job up to par. She goes on to astonish the men (they've been around to many Allys) by saying she doesn't want to sign up for the baby dance. In court Biblico also concurs, going so far as to announce that he would hire a man over a woman, any day.

Dance Fever: While Ally attempts to get Ling to reconsider, disastrously, Elaine overhears the lawyer labeling her secretary as a little pathetic. However, Ling arrives in her best spats looking so much the man that Elaine wouldn't even know her if not for the fierce growl. They dance, well, like a same-sex version of Astaire and Rogers, easily passing the qualifying round. It's money, baby.

Margaret Camero, a staunch feminist takes the witness stand, and Fish, eloquent, as ever asks if she's a lesbian, not surprisingly John benches Richard. The damage is irreparable even with a persuasive closing from Nelle, Ms. Harper emerges victorious.

Since Nelle wasn't available, The Biscuit tries out his new move that he cribbed from Richard, during his date with Renee, the knee pit massage is more orgasmic than a sale at Saks.

Apparently wishing to torture herself (one might think an episode of Touched by an Angel would be penance enough for a couple of kisses), the stringy lawyer agrees to meet with the couple's therapist. Dr. Hooper so vilifies Ally, that the feisty woman can't resist stomping the doctor's foot, making her limp painfully from the room. Deciding things might go better alone, Georgia and Billy leave for lunch hand in hand. Well, maybe there is a method to Ally's madness after all.

In some throwback to the first season, Ally and Elaine dance with the Doublemint guys at the bar. Hope this isn't a sign of trouble, getting all nostalgic, and we're still only in season two.
