Synopsis: This is either setting things up for the great finale or the great fall. This is the network that didn’t bring us Brenda for the end of 90210. Starting with the case I didn’t particularly understand. Last week’s guy who sexually harassed his wife now hired Wilson and Nelle because an ex is blackmailing him with a sex tape. Wilson doctored the tape to make it look like the woman had numerous partners including farm animals. The case was dropped. Liza the other new hire who must be working for a pittance since the firm was broke for those forty-four minutes; she continued her double entendres even Elaine and Ally were intrigued. Funny enough (apparently over the wattle fetish) Richard was the most drawn to her, so much that he employed Claire as his Cyrano. Despite accidentally labeling her a slut, he did manage an invite to her home. A pop culture palace with odes to Drew, Christina, et. al, Liza’s place also included a diving board, which she used to get Fish all hot and bothered only to leave him cold. Is there chemistry with Liza and Richard or is the age thing just plain icky? Ally’s Bermuda trip was icky and plain. Conversation was at a minimum and the sex was ho-hum. Then they come back and she meets Victor’s ex- a gallery owner Miss America type who says she owes him some paintings. Who knew he was a painter? Well, not Ally, which was maddening enough then there’s all this cellulite on her butt in the nude portrait he did of her which is it turns out a good thing since he has some kind of weird fetish, and dumped the Miss America because her bottom was too symmetrical. As stated the intention here seems to be gearing up for the finale, the moment Victor let his hair go au natural the writing was on the wall. Victor explained to Ally that he took off on Miss America because he thought it would be easier for her to hate him. Ally epiphanied that Larry must have thought the same. Victor bought Ally a ticket to Detroit, to sort out her feelings, she told him he was being controlling. They decided to take a break but probably not one of those infamous Ross and Rachel type breaks. |
